Galveston Pepper Co. started with a trip…Locating a rare pepper on the island of Roatan, Islas de la Bahia, Honduras, that packs big flavor. Now grown on the island of Galveston, Texas, these peppers are the base ingredient in our original 2040 sauce. After 15 years of creating the hot sauce for personal consumption and gifts, it became apparent it was time to take the 2040 sauce to the next level. From seed, to bottle, to your Table, Galveston pepper Co. is proud to offer a uniquely flavored sauce with high quality ingredients; and we owe it all to our inspiration and friend in roatan, Ms. Lurlene of paya bay.
